Bayer offers a diverse portfolio of Bayblend® PC+ABS blends that exhibit an excellent balance of properties, most notably high toughness – even at cold temperatures –, rigidity, dimensional stability, excellent creep resistance, low moisture absorption and good heat resistance.

Bayblend® PC+ASA blends include general-purpose and flame-retardant, reinforced and non-reinforced, as well as special-purpose grades for specific applications, such as surface finishing by electroplating and metallization.

APEc® : High-heat PC

Apec® the high-heat polycarbonate from Bayer MaterialScience has what you’re looking for.

This linear, amorphous copolycarbonate is most suitable for applications that must withstand high temperatures and exhibit toughness, impact resistance and high transparency. Apec® can also be utilized over a broad range of temperatures , from approximately -30ºC to approximately +200ºC.
